These are the top FREE movie editors that give a visual representation of what you are working with. They are listed in order of ease of use.

Windows Movie Maker 2012
supremely easy to use. Just drag and drop a few clips onto the program (most formats are supported) and immediately they're assembled into order; transitions and special effects are just a click away.

VSDC Free Video Editor
The main downfall is that there is not much in the way of documentation. But if you stick to it you will persevere. With drawing and selection tools, plenty of color and lighting corrections, some useful filters, transitions, audio effects and more leaves people very happy.

Lightworks
With a long list of features this video editor packs a punch with immense power. The tools are impressive but the price to pay is not in cash but within the fact that it has a steep learning curve. If you stick to it you will find yourself very pleased.
Be sure to download Lightworks free and not Lightworks Pro... some have made that mistake and insisted it was not free.

This by far is my favorite! Get paid through digital dollars to search on the web. You could download a toolbar add-on (much like google) and make it so much easier rather than visiting the site and searching through there. The cool thing is that THEIR search engine is powered by google.com and ask.com so you get great results. Swagbucks pays you a swag dollar that you could redeem for a variety of cool things. Anything from music, and gift cards, to gaming systems and guitars. With any worth while earning site it takes time to earn. But hey... earn something while searching, so no extra steps needed! You get "paid" swag bucks (1 - 10) it seems once a day.

Music Lovers - Download At These Sites!

Here are a list of sites i tried and so far have had little to no trouble at all.
Meaning dead links and the like.

For those who enjoy music the following ENGLISH sites offered a great way to download virus-free audio files (always scan anything you download never hurts to be careful).
Here are the top 3 sites in my opinion. If you know of any other sites comment and share =)

For Arabic music lovers sometimes the challenge of finding legit sites that offer free music downloads is close to impossible. I found some sites that make downloading your favorite songs no longer an issue =)

The first is Mazikaty.com which requires a registration but is free. Also in English which is a plus.

The following two sites are in Arabic but offer a variety of artists to browse and download songs for.

Salmiya.net (a few times a song i download would have voice over adverts for the site but happened only 3 times so far, only happened when downloading for fairooz.)
